Refurbishment specialist Gaysha has acquired Colchester-based GS Contracts, an interior fit-out and bespoke manufacturing contractor, for £1.7 million. and will support Gaysha in its expansion into the fit-out market.
Mayfair-based Gaysha has been looking to expand and gain greater control of its supply chain. It has been working with GS Contracts since last year.
Founded in 1992, GS Contracts is an established fit-out & manufacturing contractor with extensive experience operating across the leisure, hospitality and commercial sectors. It has revenues of £5.3 million in 2019 and has its own manufacturing facility which produces bespoke joinery and metalwork supporting both fit out projects and stand-alone joinery projects.
Ian Elsey, CEO of Gaysha said: “The acquisition of GS Contracts gives us greater control of our supply chain as we look to capitalise on the in-house production and manufacturing expertise, coupled with our ability to now offer a full turn-key fit out and refurbishment solution to our clients across a multitude of industries.”
