Rockfon takes leading role at Cineworld

Rockfon ceiling products have been specified for nationwide sites of Cineworld, one of the UK’s leading cinema chains. The auditoriums at the cinema complexes have been fitted with Rockfon Color-all tiles to help improve the atmospheric surround sound.

These panels have a stone wool core with a smooth, matt fleece to offer long-lasting colour, and the Rockfon Color-all is available in both ceiling tile and wall absorber formats. The Color-all range also offers acoustic solutions such as Class A sound absorption and Class A1 fire reaction.

The Color-all tiles were fitted in the Cineworld auditoriums by David Gardiner from Cheltenham based ceiling contractor D&G Ceilings using the Rocklink 24 FasTrac grid. In addition to these Color-all tiles, 500 m2 of Rockfon Artic tiles have been installed in the foyer of each new cinema complex. These Artic tiles offer Class C sound absorption and an A1 fire performance rating.
