Spray plaster from Beissier speeds up London hotel refurbishment
Productivity-boosting qualities of Beissier’s Bagar Airliss G spray plaster have helped specialist fit-out contractor Bowreach complete a London hotel transformation 5 per cent faster than requested.
Time was a critical component on the Ibis London City Hotel refurbishment as main contractor Accor requested project delivery in only 20 weeks – a rate of approximately one and a half rooms per day.
Bowreach implemented a phased approach to refurbish and fit-out each floor, and the plastering element was critical to ensuring the desired finish could be achieved within the schedule.
With more than 8,500m² of walls and ceilings in total, spray plaster was the ideal solution and Accor selected Beissier’s Bagar Airliss G spray plaster for the project, a two-coat system where the first coat provides a base coat and levelling for the substrates, while the second finishing coat achieves a fine, smooth surface ready for painting.
